Consistency: marked by harmony, regularity, or steady continuity - free from variation or contradiction.
To us, consistency is the regularity of a behaviour, a pattern, a routine. Something you do every day, week or month that develops you as a person and keeps you moving forward.
Take training for example, anyone that says you’re going to love every workout, every set, every rep or PB every session is, quite frankly, an idiot!
Some days you’re going to absolutely smash your workout, other days you’re going to go into a training session feeling a bit ‘meh’ BUT you’re still going to do it, and because you’re being consistent, guess what? You’re going to improve, get better, develop and be a better version of yourself and that’s all we can be!
Take any elite level figure in your life, whether that’s in the world of sports and fitness or any other industry and they will have had to have been consistent to get where they are! They will have faced set backs, injuries and real life things we all have to face, but consistency will have got them closer to their goals.
So remember, on the days you’re just not feeling it - dig that tiny little bit deeper and do it, it doesn’t have to be perfect but you’ll thank yourself in the long run!
